If you remove from your midst every form of domination,
share your food with the hungry and give relief to the oppressed,
then your light will rise in the dark, your night will be like noon.
The Tennessee entity was established in 2001 to serve the poor through its Isaiah 58 Mission Program, a ministry of physical presence. The members currently administer and supervise medical missions by sending teams or groups of missioners to targeted areas in which World of Hope operates.
The Isaiah 58 Mission Program's thrust is service of the poor through a ministry of physical presence by responding to our mutual needs - for, we too, are poor. The general tasks of the program are to administer and supervise the mission (overseas or local) by organizing and sending teams or groups of missioners to targeted areas through systematic planning and preparation in coordination with our partners-in-mission. Isaiah 58's initial ministry is to organize medical missions to help the poor receive much needed medical attention.
Isaiah 58 supports the Sponsorship Care Program by way of providing additional assistance, such as medical care, medicines, raising money for special projects or anything needed to help the children, family or community achieve a better quality of life through its program.
The Isaiah 58 Mission Program is headquartered in Chattanooga, TN and is administered by its Board of Directors:
