Become An Advocate PDF Print

In Pope John Paul II’s Post-Synodal Apostolic Exortation,
The Lay Members of Christ’s Faithful People, issued in 1988, he said:
“There is no such thing as a call to be a passive Christian. All of the faithful are called to be missionaries.”

In the light of the Pope’s teaching, we invite you to become an advocate for the poor, especially oppressed children who have no voice to tell their own story. How you can do that through World of Hope’s ministry is to become involved in our mission and inviting others to join you by:

  • Sponsoring a child in a third world country.
  • Giving a donation to assist in funding a grant to a children’s project in the U.S.
  • Helping to collect medical supplies for distribution to the poor.
  • Attending a fund raising event and inviting a friend.
  • Offering your time and talent to assist in the work of the foundation.
  • Giving your professional expertise by assisting with medical missions.
  • Giving in-kind services through your business.
  • Purchasing our music or books which helps our outreach to the poor.
  • Speaking about our mission to your friends.
  • Interceding for our needs in your family or prayer group.

“He who abides in me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit.”
JN 15:5
